Founded in 1990 by John J. Tegan, Sr., CTS began as a regional provider of voice, data, and video infrastructure in the Boston area. A pivotal moment came in the mid-1990s when Sun Microsystems selected CTS as a national partner, recognizing our commitment to quality and customer service. That early success paved the way for long-term relationships with major technology firms and a national DSL rollout contract with AT&T in 2001—establishing CTS as a truly nationwide provider.
As enterprise demands evolved, so did we. For over a decade, CTS has been at the forefront of in-building wireless infrastructure, helping clients tackle one of today’s most pressing challenges: reliable, high-performance wireless connectivity. Our team designs and delivers Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), small cell, public safety DAS, and private 5G solutions tailored to mission-critical environments like commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and large enterprise campuses.
Building out from a strong foundation in network design and installation, CTS is expanding into managed services to provide comprehensive network operations and support for increasingly complex in-building and campus wireless systems. This growth allows CTS to offer proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization—helping clients keep connectivity reliable and secure as the demand for advanced wireless solutions continues to rise.
